All of us have gone through challenges at some point in our lives, but have we taken the time to find the meaning in what we have gone through?
Join me with our incredible guest, Lolly Daskal. Her inquisitive nature showed her how to find meaning in each of life’s trials to enable her to move beyond success to significance. Lolly found that the most important thing leaders can work on is who they are on the inside.
Today you will learn how to identify the personal gaps that are holding you back from your greatness!
“… every single person is a leader. You just have to find out who you are from within.” Lolly Daskal
We have to know who we really are before we can determine the why, what and how. Who we are is affected by the choices we make. Lolly believes at her core that greatness is available to all of us…we just have to choose it. Do we opt to fight all of the negativities within ourselves or do we let these doubts and ‘gaps’ define who we are? This is the first thing step towards greatness.
“Once you have the awareness and the desire, the work itself starts to unfold.” Lolly Daskal
Lolly stresses that we don’t have to try to make people do anything they don’t want to do. They first have to see it within themselves and their readiness will bring about the internal changes that they want to make.
“We all have shadows. We all have gaps. The fact is that these shadows are opportunities to stand in our greatness, but we have to leverage them first.” Lolly Daskal
We must stop comparing ourselves to the people around us. All of us have these gaps and doubts inside, but it’s how we see each hardship that makes the difference. If we regard these adversities positively, then we are leveraging our gaps to get to our greatness!
